She describes her current project, <em data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"459\">The Last Dawn<\/em>, as \u201cdeeply upsetting in all the right ways\u201d\u2014a story that does not flinch from pain, longing, or the ruin that follows desire.<\/p><p><span class=\"s1\">Her poetry chapbook, <\/span><em><span class=\"s2\">a face full of flowers<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">, was published by <a href=\"https:\/\/bottlecap.press\/products\/face\">Bottlecap Press<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0in 2025. She was a Third Round Finalist in the 2024 <\/span><span class=\"s3\">NYC Midnight Short Story Competition<\/span><span class=\"s1\">, and her writing has appeared in <a href=\"https:\/\/heroinchic.weebly.com\/blog\/poetry-by-samantha-hund\">Anti-Heroin Chic<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crowstepjournal.com\/samantha-hund\">Crowstep Journal<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s1\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/expatpress.com\/this-is-my-body-samantha-hund\/\"><span class=\"s3\">Expat Press<\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">.
